Leadership Award

General Information

The Georgia Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) has established scholarship awards to encourage graduate students contemplating or pursuing a career in commercial real estate brokerage.  Additionally, the chapter has established awards for licensed commercial real estate professionals who are contemplating application or pursuit of the SIOR designation.

Eligible Recipients

1. Graduate students in business and/or real estate who are pursuing a career in commercial real estate brokerage.
2. Licensed commercial real estate professionals who are pursuing the SIOR designation.

Application Requirements

This application must be completed properly and signed by the applicant.  Applicants will be required to appear for an interview in person before the SIOR scholarship committee.

Limitation – Disbursement Procedures 

Scholarship funds are to be used only for tuition or academic costs for graduate students.  For real estate professionals, funds are to be used for SIOR coursework only. 

Amount Awarded 

$2,000.00 per award.

Date Issued 

The award will be issued and recipients honored at the fall leadership breakfast for Georgia SIOR in November of 2007. 

Application Deadline

All applications shall be completed and submitted to the committee no later than September 7, 2007.
